Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:2-4

In most churches, the subject of "Antichrist" is not talked about much today, however the topic is relevant for the times in which we live. What is "Antichrist" well to put it quite simply it is anything or anyone that's opposes christ and does not acknowledge or believe that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. Before, I go into the word, let's explore Wikipedia for a moment and see what we can determine. Wikipedia tell us that "In Christian eschatology, the Antichrist refers to people prophesied by the Bible to oppose Jesus Christ and substitute themselves in Christ's place before the Second Coming. The term Antichrist is found four times in the New Testament, solely in the First and Second Epistle of John. The Antichrist is announced as the one "who denies the Father and the Son." The similar term pseudokhristos or "false Christ" is also found in the Gospels. In Matthew (chapter 24) and Mark (chapter 13), Jesus alerts his disciples not to be deceived by the false prophets, who will claim themselves as being Christ, performing "great signs and wonders". Three other images often associated with the singular Antichrist are the "little horn" in Daniel's final vision, the "man of sin" in Paul the Apostle's Second Epistle to the Thessalonians, and the Beast of the Sea in the Book of Revelation." In 2 John 1:7 you'll find this verse;"For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist." This information can be found in the bible, but very few preachers, if any will mention it. Again in 1 John 2:22, you'll find these words "Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son." Finally, the bible tells us in 1 John 2:18 "Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour." A noted Pastor would tell his followers, "Get ready, Get ready, Get, Get, Get, Get ready" I'm here to tell you this! "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man (Jesus) cometh." Matthew 24:44
