"Christ has REDEEMED us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, cursed is everyone that hangs on a tree" Galatian 3:13
We've been studying "How to turn your faith loose" I thank God, through Christ Jesus, I've been redeemed (to purchase) from sin. What is the curse of the law? Well, the law is described as the Pentateuch, or the firs five books of the bible, which are Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. If you read those five books of the bible, you'll find that the curse for disobeying the law of God is threefold, poverty, sickness and the second death. I thank my God, Jesus Christ has redeemed us from the curse of poverty, sickness and death. When we're talking about death, we're talking about spiritual death, which is separation from God and eternal death and separation from Him, when Jesus returns. Remember the word tells us this, "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:” 1 Thes 4:16. Those believers who have died in Christ Jesus will be the first to rise.
My friends we should not fear the second death that my friends belongs to those who are spiritually dead. I'm not spiritually dead and neither are any of you, if you've accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord! If you like to accept Jesus as your Savior and Lord, read this passage aloud, "Lord Jesus, I confess that I'm a sinner, born that way and shaped in, iniquities. Forgive me of my sins and remove all of my repetitive sins, please Jesus come into my heart and Save me, by your precious blood. I accept you as my Savior and Lord. I will live for you, all the day of my life and when this world is over, I will dwell in your Kingdom, forever. AMEN, THANK YOU Jesus!"
